At ALA, students don't just learn concepts—they experience them

All students within a similar age group participate in the same Readtopia and ReadtopiaGO themes and units; however, instruction is differentiated to meet each learner's individual needs. For example, during a Romeo and Juliet unit, students in our Independent Program may explore Renaissance inventions, create family crests, or analyze characters, while students in our Wayfinders Program may identify emotions, sequence story events, match characters to pictures, or practice communication skills using AAC. This approach allows all students to engage with age-respectful content while learning at their own level.

Skill Labs & Enrichment

Students in our Bridging Pathways and Wayfinders programs participate in Skill Labs within our clinic building, where specialized learning environments allow for highly interactive, individualized, and small-group learning experiences.

Students in our Independent Program participate in hands-on enrichment activities embedded within their classroom environment, allowing them to apply concepts through projects, STEM activities, communication opportunities, and collaborative learning experiences while maintaining a traditional classroom structure.

Our Partnership with AchieveAbility Therapy Services

Through our partnership with AchieveAbility Therapy Services (AATS), students benefit from collaboration between teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, BCBAs, and RBTs.

This team approach creates consistency across environments and provides students with opportunities to strengthen and generalize skills throughout their day.
